Just wanted some feedback about the music reviews. I have had some requests to include RIYL (Recommended If You Like) at the end of my reviews. Good idea? Bad Idea? Also, would people like me to rate the releases I review from 1-10? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

I think a RIYL would be great with your reviews. I think the rating thing is a little overrated, though. I really like your reviews, Will — I like when you compare newer bands we might not have heard to older ones so we kind of know what the band is about. Keep it up, Billy!

Hi! Ran across your blog on BlogMad. Very nice!
I just followed a link from a random blog; you’re doing a great job here! RIYL would be an excellent addition, I think. Ratings, however, may be overrated. Keep it up – I’ll be back!
i think it would be really helpful for you to compare bands that you review to more widely known, mainstream bands. Comparing the obscure to the well known helps lead people who want to expand into new bands do just that. Not comparing obscure bands to anyone or comparing them to other equally obscure bands just keeps your readers as equally in the dark as they were before they stumbled across what are otherwise really well written reviews.
