I listened to a brilliant session with Walter Schreifels on AOL’s interface recently. Walter Schreifels is known as one of the most talented figures to rise from the hardcore scene. He was in the legendary hardcore bands Youth Of Today and Gorilla Biscuits, collaborated with Civ, formed the original post-hardcore band, Quicksand, then went onto play in Rival Schools and lastly The Walking Concert (not to mention a few bands that never saw a proper release).
