Birmingham, Alabama’s The Ackleys have posted a new video for the song “Chinaman” from their self-titled debut on House of Love Records.
The video is also included as a bonus Quicktime feature on their latest EP Forget Forget Derive Derive which was released by House of Love as well.
Directed by Seth Newell and filmed in part at the infamous Cave9, the video depicts the fictional rise and fall — and eventual reconciliation — of The Ackleys, all seen through the eyes of a bottle of Heinz Ketchup. Sorta. Just watch it.

dude… for all that beartrap talks big talk about the ackleys… i’ve never listened, but i decided to give this video a twirl. Yes, the acting is awful, but the song is pretty damn good… and that girl is only 17???
so, the video is horrible, but i LOVE their music
Overall, I found it pretty average. But I do love how nonchalant the girl is while singing.
