Tiny Engines is pleased to announce that it will release Here We Are Tomorrow, the newest 7″ EP from Kent, Ohio’s Annabel.

Slated for an “official” release of December 14th (actual release = whenever copies of the record show up on my doorstep), the EP is now available for pre-order from the label.

Produced, recorded and mixed by Annabel front man Ben Hendricks and mastered by Tim Gerak (of Six Parts Seven), Here We Are Tomorrow contains four brand new songs – plus a 5th bonus digital-only track – and will be pressed on blue (300) and maroon (200) vinyl. Packaging will feature printed polybags, hand-screened / numbered inserts and each copy of the 7″ will come with a free mp3 download code. To secure one for yourself, go here.

Annabel is currently streaming the first track from the 7-inch, “The Forgetting Of Names And Faces,” on its myspace page. The song is also available for download as part of Punknews.org’s recent The Fest 9: A Free Compilation (Volume 1).

Ratcheting up the the immediacy quotient tenfold and tapping into an even more aggressive, urgent punk spirit, Annabel’s newest five-song offering provides a seemingly endless supply of exclamation point moments. Here We Are Tomorrow is a potent mix of the band’s most sweetly innate qualities, as well as the formidable talents it has developed along the way: engrossing melodies, a kinetic pulse and an underlying warmth and honesty that simply can’t be faked. It’s clear that the Annabel has blossomed into a singular songwriting force and fully intends on making a definitive statement with this magnetic EP … and that statement resonates longer and more emphatically than ever before.
