All music submissions are certainly accepted and encouraged. However, as of December 2009, with certain exceptions, SAL will only be reviewing physical promos. Physical submissions are not guaranteed coverage.

You may still send digital submissions and I might even cover it in some form or fashion if I really dig it. But you certainly have less of a chance if you send in that format. In all probability it will just end up buried in the SAL inbox.

I have given up on trying to respond to SAL emails so I apologize in advance for that. Rest assured that if you send something and I like it then I will cover it. Otherwise, if it doesn’t make it up on the site you can just assume that it’s not my thing right now.
